Catastrophic and Non-Catastrophic Injuries

A Catastrophic Life Care Plan addresses the extensive needs of individuals with severe, permanent injuries or conditions that significantly impact their ability to perform daily activities.

A non-Catastrophic Life Care Plan details treatment costs and needs of people living with permanent, chronic illness or physical impairment who retain the ability to perform some or all ADL, but do so with noted difficulty and loss of quality of life.

In essence, both types of life care plans provide a roadmap for addressing the ongoing needs of individuals with long-term health challenges, but they differ in the severity of the injury/condition, the level of care required, and the potential financial implications.
